Austin Tech Connect Podcasts

Austin Tech Connect Podcast from the Austin Technology CouncilThe Austin Technology Council has launched a new podcast, “Austin Tech Connect”.

This is the podcast for those who work in and around technology in Central Texas.  Each week we interview key players in community to get their business stories, advice, and their views on the future of tech in Austin.

The ATC CEO, Thom Singer, is the host of the show. He has conducted over 1200 interviews on several podcasts over the past 8 years.  His conversational interview style is allowing many local visionary leaders who casually drop all kinds of knowledge on the listeners of the show.

Listening to podcasts has become increasingly popular in recent years and for good reason. There are a multitude of benefits to tuning in to these audio shows, which can range from educational and informative to entertaining and inspiring. “Austin Tech Connect” is just one example of why podcasts are a great way to get knowledge and feel connected in a community.

Here is why:

First and foremost, podcasts are an excellent source of information and knowledge (and the new ATC show is your place to get information and knowledge from local leaders). Whether you’re interested in history, politics, science, or any other topic, there is likely a podcast out there that can satisfy your curiosity. And for those of us in Austin Tech…. we all should be listening to this show.

In addition to being educational, podcasts can also be highly entertaining. Thom’s style gets the guests to open up and share from their soul. There are countless podcasts that are geared toward comedy, storytelling, or just generally having a good time…but very few that look at Austin.

Another benefit of podcasts is that they offer a wide range of perspectives and voices. The “Austin Tech Connect” podcast is looking for all types of tech executives to share their stories. Unlike traditional media, which is often controlled by a small group of gatekeepers, podcasts are produced and distributed by a diverse range of individuals and organizations (like ATC).

Finally, podcasts are incredibly convenient. You can listen to “Austin Tech Connect” anytime and anywhere. You can find it on most podcast apps, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Unlike reading a book or watching a video, you can listen to a podcast while doing other things, such as working out, cooking, or driving. This makes it easy to incorporate podcast listening into your daily routine, so you can continue to learn and be entertained even when you’re on the go.  We want you to listen every week.

In conclusion, listening to the ATC podcast is a fantastic way to expand your knowledge, have some fun, and hear from a variety of perspectives.
