Brett and Mark will dive into what it means to build culture for a scaling company in 2021 and beyond. Bazaarvoice became the largest public SaaS (Software as a Service) business in social commerce and was named by the WSJ as one of the top IPOs of 2012. Brett also founded and led Coremetrics\, which was rated the #1 Web analytics solution by Forrester Research and\, like Bazaarvoice\, expanded into a global company and leader. Coremetrics was acquired by IBM in 2010 for around $300m. \nIn 2017\, Brett was given the Best CEO Legacy Award by the Austin Business Journal. He is a Henry Crown Fellow and Braddock Scholar at the Aspen Institute. Brett began programming at age seven and doing so on the Internet at age eighteen. He finished his book\, “The Entrepreneur’s Essentials”\, in August 2019 (available at medium.com/@databrett for free). \nMark McClain – In his role as CEO and Founder of SailPoint (NYSE:SAIL)\, Mark brings almost 35 years of experience in technology\, with over 20 years as a founder and leader of innovative identity management companies. Under Mark’s direction\, the company has grown into a publicly recognized leader in its market. Mark directs and drives the overall vision and strategy for SailPoint\, which is underpinned by his commitment and passion for building top-performing teams\, creating a collaborative and innovative work environment\, and focusing continuously on the needs of customers. \nTeaming is a concept that Mark promotes throughout the company: teaming with forward-thinking customers to understand their needs\, with partners to ensure customer success\, and ultimately within SailPoint to develop innovative\, market-leading solutions. Mark is passionate about maintaining the spirit of teamwork\, even as SailPoint grows its employee base and its global presence to offices around the world. \nPrior to SailPoint\, he co-founded Waveset Technologies\, which was ultimately acquired by Sun Microsystems. SUMMARY:WEBINAR - Understanding the Evolving Crisis and the Potential Impact on Your Small Business
DESCRIPTION:We live in what feels like unprecedented times. An overwhelming sense that the nation is coming unglued right before our very eyes. Ideological fissures are tearing the country apart and a hyper polarization of politics has seemingly no resolution or end point in sight. \nSevere upheaval and dislocation in the systems and structures that have held society in cohesion are causing them to come apart with a rapidity that is both alarming and unsettling. It is everywhere. In government and politics\, our education systems\, the environment\, science and medicine\, business and the economy\, even the arts and entertainment. \nHowever\, in spite of what is seemingly all chaos and disorder\, it is not. \nThere is an order and sequence to events that underlies U.S history – a pattern that occurs over and over in the same cycle and can be traced back in the country’s earliest history. Just like the seasonal progression of winter\, spring\, summer\, and fall\, history has four turnings that occur sequentially in an 80-100 year epoch. We are at the end of this hundred year era\, which culminates in a Crisis in which everything comes undone and is remade. It has all happened before and\, while these times are not unprecedented in our history\, they are unprecedented for you. \nThis crisis will be over in a few years. This webinar will help give you context and tools to assist you in navigating through all the turmoil and restructuring while positioning your business for success now and in the coming season\, in which many incredible opportunities will emerge.

SUMMARY:Managing Digital Resilience: Thinking Like an Adversary to Ensure the Survival of Your Business
DESCRIPTION:As today’s enterprises face potential targeting from criminals\, competitors\, and politically motivated threat actors\, a broad range of attack methods are in play. One commonality to all these actors is their likely targeting of humans as the weakest link in the organization’s security. Executives present an attractive target for adversaries due to their public profile and a role widely acknowledged to result in one being time reduced. Furthermore\, executives are perceived by potential adversaries as having access to desirable business information\, such as customer data\, employee data\, and financial data\, as well as the ability to move money and data on behalf of the organization. For these reasons\, executives face a higher risk of being used as an attack vector against the company. This talk covers tactics\, techniques\, and procedures across the physical\, social and cyber landscapes to mitigate the elevated and ever-changing personal risk of individuals due to their prominence\, wealth\, occupation\, reputation\, travel destinations\, or other factors. \nLearning Objectives:\n1. Explain why people are vulnerable and how cyber attackers are actively exploiting these vulnerabilities\n2. Design and implement key metrics to measure the impact of each stage of your digital resilience program\, to include measuring compliance\, behaviors\, and culture\n3. Identify\, measure\, and prioritize your human risks\n4. Characterize the culture of your organization and determine the most effective communication methods and training modalities for that culture\n5. Align your cybersecurity culture to your organization’s strategy\, including how to leverage different security frameworks and maturity models \nThere are no prerequisites required for this course. 1.0 CPE credit will be given.
