DESCRIPTION:Tso Chinese Delivery will continue its #TsoGiving campaign\, which has already given $18\,500 of food to Austinites impacted by COVID-19\, with the help of fellow local businesses. With a generous donation from Alpha Paving\, Richards Rainwater\, and Zhi Tea\, Tso will be able to offer free meals to those in need during the month of April via a curbside drive-through. \n“Austin is our home\, and the Austin community has been so good to us\,” says Tso CEO\, Min Choe. “Giving food to those in need is just a small way to take care of the same people that support us\, and we are so fortunate to have such an amazing local partner in Alpha Paving\, who value community as much as we do. \nDetails & Instructions: (Please make sure to read) \n???? When recipients arrive at the food donation booth\, recipients will indicate whether they need two (2)\, three (3) or four (4) meals\, with 4 meals maximum available per vehicle. They can also receive cans of still water from Richards Rainwater and tea bags from Zhi Tea\, while supplies last. \n???? Meal Options: General Tso Chicken\, Chicken & Broccoli\, and Sesame Tofu\, all served with Steamed Rice. The order will be placed in a bag in the trunk of the recipient’s vehicle for contactless service. \n???? 4 Meal maximum per car. Please only ask for as many as you need. Purchase a meal directly from a local restaurant + bottle of wine or crowler (or 6-pack) of beer\, spread out a blanket\, and enjoy from a safe social distance\, the comfort of your living room. Celebrate what makes Austin great – community – while supporting our local restaurants\, bars\, breweries and makers. \nListen to Austin artists with a Spotify playlist curated by The SIMS Foundation \nYou can support local musicians by donating here. \nFollow along\, post about your picnic or give a shout out for your favorite restaurant\, bar\, brewery or wineshop by tagging\n@atxlovelocal and #atxlivingroompicnic. \nThe first of many\, we hope to continue a long running movement of continued support for our hospitality industry though this initiative\, while also spreading some much needed happiness though the city.
