SUMMARY:ATC Unplugged: "Transparency Sells Better Than Perfection"
DESCRIPTION:A consumer research study changed my life. As it turns out\, transparency sells better than perfection. And\, due to the proliferation of reviews and feedback on everything we do\, buy and experience\, we now have to be transparent anyway. In this talk\, we explore the science of how we\, as humans\, engage\, prioritize\, decide\, and ultimately buy. We then dig into how to immediately apply those learnings to our messaging\, positioning\, and overall buying journey. SUMMARY:Leadership Dinner: Turning Your Greatest Ideas into Software with High Performance Low Code
DESCRIPTION:The demands on IT are at the apex\, but there are still more apps to build\, technologies to integrate\, threats to combat and talent to find. Is the constant chasing and fixing forcing your innovation to the side? It’s time to take control of both. \nATC has partnered with OutSystems for a software-centric June Leadership Dinner\, where experts will weigh in on how: \n\nShifting your mindset can turn your development team into a high-performance innovation factory\nOrganizations exactly like yours are building web and mobile apps with radical productivity\, output and business impact\nYour existing SaaS architecture can fit into this new high-performance model.\nYour current talent and team can build the specialized applications you need for your business — in weeks and months\, not years\n\nREGISTER NOW \nAgenda: \n5 p.m. – Networking\, Drinks\, and Apps \n6 p.m. – Panel Discussion \n7 p.m. – Dinner \nMeet Our Speakers: \nAndy Wahrenberger has worked for companies such as Microsoft\, Dell\, and Progressive Insurance over the course of his 30 year career. In November 2020\, he became Director of System Architecture at OutSystems to help lead the organization’s transformation to a Cloud Native Multi Tenant platform. He’s enjoyed seeing employees embrace newer technologies and approaches to building software and succeeding together in a new paradigm. His time at Microsoft and Dell has instilled a better together strategy. He believes development and infrastructure provide the best solutions. \nMike W. Jones has over 25 years in the technology market place. He started his career at Electronic Data Systems where he was exposed to early application development disciplines and methodologies. He then spent many years helping evolve approaches to development including Information Engineering\, Component Based Development methods and Agile practices. Mike\, then spent 9 years helping OutSystems establish itself as the leader in the Low-code market before joining Do iT Lean as their General Manager for Americas. \nRon Savarese has been in the software industry since 2008 but has been chasing tech as a personal interest since the days internet speed was measured in baud. That interest in technology and staying up on current trends has been a passion for a long time and led him to where he is today. He cut his teeth initially as a database developer and architect\, having built applications while serving in the US Navy\, and then went on to eventually manage teams as a director\, CTO\, and for the past 4 years as President of MicroMain Corporation. The crowning achievement that landed him on this panel of experts – parachuting into the 6th failed iteration of a software redesign from the ground-up. One final project and 7 months later\, they had their MVP to release\, all built on a no/low-code platform. Today the company does millions in ARR and transitioned 100% of their focus to the new SaaS app built on no/low-code. \nMeet Our Moderator: \nLinda Ginac is the Chairman and CEO of TalentGuard\, a leading VC-funded SaaS company focused on changing the way global organizations manage and develop their employees. Before TalentGuard\, she founded a successful career development franchise\, The Ginac Group\, serving clients across the U.S. and Canada. Prior to this\, Linda was Vice President of Product Strategy at Cofiniti\, where she was instrumental in pioneering Cofiniti’s global entry into collaborative financial planning using cloud-based technology and helping to prepare the company for a successful exit to H&R Block. Linda also served as marketing executive at pcOrder collaborating with the team that led the company from an start-up to a NASDAQ-listed public corporation. In prior leadership roles\, Linda served as Vice President of Marketing at EPSIAA\, where she led global expansion of the brand through acquisition by Fiserv\, Vice President of Business Development at Computer People and a few roles in marketing at Digital Equipment Corporation. \nLinda holds a Master’s Degree in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Norwich University. \nAbout OutSystems: \nAt OutSystems\, we change the way software is built\, so you can rapidly create and deploy critical applications that evolve with your business. Transform your customer experience\, create a modern workplace\, automate and streamline processes or modernize core systems. You can create any app with OutSystems. \nFor more info\, visit https://www.outsystems.com/ \nLocation: \nMeet us in the banquet room of Z’Tejas on 6th\, located on the west side of the restaurants parking lot.
