Role Summary/Purpose:

As a Sr. Compensation Analyst you will be responsible for providing appropriate support and analysis to ensure the company maintains a competitive and cost effective position in the markets in which we operate and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. You will support the development, implementation and administration of company compensation policies and programs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Makes recommendations regarding salary structure, base pay, variable pay, and sales incentives with conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices
  • Conducts job analysis for positions to ensure appropriate compensation levels are established and maintained
  • Participates in compensation surveys to collect and provide continuous research and analysis of competitive compensation information
  • Assists in conducting market analysis and budget preparation for salary adjustment programs
  • Reviews effectiveness of current compensation processes, creates compensation reports and metrics to evaluate internal and external best practices and drives ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Participates in the administration of the annual merit program and out of cycle compensation requests
  • Audits jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties and requirements
  • Reviews requests for new/revised jobs or classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment
  • Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related major or at least 4 years’ experience in compensation
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities to perform assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Certified Compensations Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) preferred
  • Incentive plan design, administration and project management a plus
  • Must have strong knowledge of compensation laws including federal and state regulations
  • Ability to consult on pay, bonus and FLSA reviews
  • International compensation experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Must have aptitude to solve problems and seeks ways to improve processes
  • Ability to perform independent, in-depth analyses
