Role Summary/Purpose:

As The compensation manager you will be responsible for planning, developing and implementing new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to be responsive to the company’s goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Reviews effectiveness of current compensation processes, creates compensation reports and metrics to evaluate internal and external best practices and drives ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Leads the administration of the annual merit program and out of cycle compensation requests
  • Administers the company’s executive bonus and profit sharing programs
  • Participation in the company’s annual variable plan design process
  • Provides advice on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs
  • Makes recommendations regarding salary structure, base pay, variable pay, and sales incentives with conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices
  • Conducts job analysis for positions to ensure appropriate compensation levels are established and maintained; Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems
  • Oversees the company participation in compensation surveys to collect and provide continuous research and analysis of competitive compensation information
  • Conducts market analysis and budget preparation for salary adjustment programs
  • Mentors global compensation team in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
  • Other projects as requested


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related major
  • Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in compensation
  • Certified Compensations Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) preferred
  • Incentive plan design, administration and project management experience a must
  • Sales and Professional Services compensation experience a plus
  • Must have strong knowledge of compensation laws including federal and state regulations
  • Ability to consult on pay, bonus and FLSA reviews
  • International compensation experience a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Must have aptitude to solve problems and seeks ways to improve processes
  • Ability to perform independent, in-depth analyses
