SUMMARY:The Great AI Debate
DESCRIPTION:Join the Austin Forum for a high-energy mock debate featuring some of Austin’s top technology\, business\, and community leaders. Moving beyond simple “pro vs. con” rhetoric\, this event will use a competitive format to tackle the most pressing questions of the year\, including the possibility of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)\, the true economic ROI of enterprise AI\, the societal impact of AI and workforce transformation\, and the cultural impact of synthetic media on human creativity. A core focus of the session is the “Governance Paradox”—the tension between the urgent need for rapid innovation and the ethical concerns related to safety and privacy. This interactive\, intellectual competition concludes with a networking reception for attendees to further discuss these issues with the debaters and each other.

SUMMARY:GILD: Speed as an AI Advantage
DESCRIPTION:Speed as an AI Advantage\nHow execution speed is shaping competitive advantage in AI\, where hesitation is costing learning or talent\, and how leaders pressure-test pace without creating organizational chaos. \nGILD Roundtable for CEOs and Founders in Austin\, TX\nDate: Tuesday\, April 14th\, 2026\nTime: 6:00 – 8:30 pm \nCurated for senior operators. \nAbout the Event\nAI strategy is no longer about whether to move. It is about how fast. \nIn 2026\, competitive advantage is increasingly determined by execution speed. Teams that ship faster learn faster. Companies that experiment earlier compound insight. Talent gravitates toward environments where decisions turn into action quickly. \nThis roundtable brings together CEOs and founders navigating that tension in real time. Not in theory. In live operating environments\, where headcount\, capital\, and reputation are on the line. \nThe Curated Circuit Format\nGILD is intentionally small and highly curated. \nThis is a private\, off-the-record exchange under Chatham House Rules.\nNo panels. No pitches. No demos. \nAfter a short framing segment\, the room moves into rotating micro-roundtables. Every table discusses the same prompt each round. Groups rotate so you meet a meaningful cross-section of the room.
