It plans to launch its first rocket soon. DESCRIPTION:Workforce Solutions Capital Area\, Austin Technology Council\, and the Texas Workforce Commission are partnering on a study to better identify and understand the workforce needs of Austin tech companies. The goal is to provide better training and support services to middle skill job seekers who are looking to enter technology fields\, and to better align education around the workforce needs to tech employers. \nAs a key part of our tech ecosystem\, we are seeking your input as part of this study. We have a couple of ways for you to provide input. \n\nJoin a tech employer roundtable discussion on November 6 or November 20\nParticipate in an interview (in-person or over the phone) with our consulting team\n\nThe roundtable discussions will be held at the following times: \n\nNovember 6 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at Workforce Solutions (9001 N. IH 35\, Ste 110)\nNovember 20 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at Workforce Solutions (9001 N. IH 35\, Ste 110)\n\nDuring this meeting\, we will discuss your challenges related to recruiting\, developing\, and retaining tech talent. You will also have the opportunity to tour the new Workforce Solutions training facility. \nI look forward to working with you and your company to tackle the tech talent needs of our city.
