DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to compete in the Totally Derbular Pixelwood Derby V! \nIn its 5th year\, the Pixelwood Derby is a semi-competitive pinewood derby race that brings together Austin’s best and most impactful companies (like SXSW\, Grande Communications\, YETI\, Spredfast\, Capital Factory\, BuildASign and many more) to raise money for a local charity. \nTwenty-eight teams will receive an official Pinewood Derby car kit to design along with rules for the race. Top designs will be decided by a select panel of judges\, in addition to awards for speed\, team spirit\, and more. Expect this competition to be fierce and fun! \nThis year\, all proceeds will go to The Settlement Home for Children; a private\, licensed nonprofit that cares for children who come from abusive and neglectful backgrounds.
