Finland announced the acquisition of its first Quantum Computer in May 2020. The development and construction of this quantum computer will be carried out as an international innovation partnership, and US companies are invited to join in the process. The quantum computer to be built for VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd, and it will serve both Finnish and European companies extensively and create a foundation for a new branch of industry.
In addition to the CQ acquisition, there will be multiple collaboration streams on various use cases, including cryptography, chemistry, AI, financial problem solving etc.
