Austin Chamber of Commerce where she leads the development and execution of the organization’s vision for Central Texas as a top global region for technology innovation, company formation and expansion, in addition to increasing top access to private equity and venture capital.

In this role, Michele cultivates emerging and strategic technology growth that identifies next generation technology and innovation trends, as well as facilitating the vital interconnection of Greater Austin’s burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem for company inception and growth acceleration.

Michele is a highly engaged and integral member of Austin’s entrepreneurial community, having served in leadership positions with the Central Texas Angel Network, one of the top angel networks in the nation, as a Mentor & Advisor for: Tech Ranch Austin, a technology incubator and entrepreneur community, Incubation Station, now SKU, a consumer packed goods (CPG) accelerator, and at Capital Factory, an incubator and startup community connecting Austin's entrepreneurs, angel investors, experienced professionals, and venture capitalists.

In addition to various partner councils, Michele serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Texas Regional Center of Innovation & Commercialization and on the Innovation Advisory Committee for Texas State STAR Park. Michele is currently a key advisor of Mayor Adler’s Innovation Zone Group, established to explore and catalyze the opportunity for an Innovation Zone, leveraging the new Dell Medical School and Dell Seton Medical Center investment into a large economic development project for the city of Austin.

Recently, Michele was recognized by the Austin Business Journal Profiles in Power & Women of Influence Awards as a Finalist for 2015. The awards celebrated women of influence in Central Texas who are considered to have "Profiles in Power" and have gained recognition through their success in business and contributions to their community.

Prior to the Austin Chamber, Michele served as Senior Director of Global Business Development, Marketing & Communications for Appconomy, a mobile app software company dually headquartered in Shanghai and Austin. Michele has also held senior positions with Lifeproof Cases, First Mobile Technologies, G-51 Capital, Augmentix Corporation, Dell and with AT&T’s executive leadership development program.
