Austin consistently ranks as one of the top cities for both the tech industry and entrepreneurship. But the story is a little different when you look at these rankings from the female perspective. While Austin gets high marks as a hotbed for women entrepreneurs, it’s less rosy for women in technology, with women holding only 21% of the roles and earning, on average, 20% less than their male counterparts.
We know that diversity in business leads to more sustainable careers, more innovative products, more prosperous companies and communities. So, how do we change the ratio in Austin?
Join us November 16th, from 6-9pm, at the Blanton Museum of Art for an enlightened panel to discuss how to inspire, support, and bring more talented women into Austin’s tech community.
